CONNECTIONS
The speaker systems are equipped with two 4-pole, lockable Speakon sockets.
For locking a connection turn the plug to the right. For unlocking pull the unlock button and turn the plug to the left and
pull it out of the socket.
This speaker system must only be connected to an appropriate power amplifier. The amplifier power must
correspond with the speaker system power. An amplifier with too little power can also destroy a speaker system
with a higher power range.

Connection of the Sockets
PRIME-10CX, PRIME-12CX, PRIME-152, PRIME-182
The connectors [
INPUT
] and [
LINK
] of models PRIME-10CX, PRIME-12CX, PRIME-152 and PRIME-182 are
wired in parallel; they can be used as input and output as desired. This way you can connect the input of the
first speaker system to the output on your power amplifier and tap into the signal from the amplifier on the
output [
LINK
], to feed this signal into the next speaker system.
PRIME-208, PRIME-212
Plug the horn’s speaker cable to the subwoofer’s output [
HF OUTPUT
]. Connect your PA amplifier to the
[
INPUT
] jack; model PRIME-212 requires an adaptor cable, e.g. 30227650 NYB5-2-0100BSW 4-pin to 2 x 2-
pin Speakon.

Information on Installing Audio Cables
Always treat cables carefully and protect them from
damages during transportation.
Install cables always in a structured way and protect
them from damage.
Cables must be installed in a way that no person can
stumble over them. Always fix cables with tape.
Cables should be installed directly (no loops, S-shaped
overlengths).
Always install cables far away from power cables (never
closely parallel).
Never put heavy objects like speaker systems,
flightcases etc. on cables.
Never operate cables wound up.
