The Falcon
®
4620 is a Vehicle Mount Computer, to which you can attach
numerous peripheral devices for data collection. When the Falcon 4620 has
been attached to its mounting bracket and the peripherals and accessories have
been connected (as instructed in the Installation Guide), the system is ready
for use.
This chapter provides descriptions of the basic unit, peripherals, and basic
configuration information:

Unless you have ordered a custom system, your Falcon 4620 comes from the
factory with either Windows

2000, Windows

XP Embedded, or Win-
dows

XP Professional operating system installed.
