Charging The Internal Battery
Before the 1st operation:
This unit is delivered in a partially charged state, due to
storage requirements. Please fully charge the device after your purchase and before
your first use (please only use the chargers supplied with LI1200A)
Charging the unit.
Connect the LI1200A to the 230V AC charging adapter and "CHARGING" will appear on the LCD display.
The percentage indicates the charging level of the battery. 100% indicates that the LI1200 is completely
charged. " LOW BATTERY RECHARGE NOW " indicates that the internal battery is low and that it requires
you to charge it as described to prevent a permanent damage caused by deep-discharging.
Battery Life
Recharging the battery after each use will prolong battery life. Do not permanently charge the battery,
but also avoid to (frequently) fully discharge the battery, as this will reduce battery life. Please recharge
the battery at least every 3 months to keep the battery in good condition and being able to jump start
at any time. Not charging the LI1200A every 3 months can cause a permanent damage to the internal
battery and can result in a broken unit.
LED Flashlight
The built-in ultra-bright LED Light helps you to jump-start your car in a dark environment. The FLASH-
mode can also be used e.g. to secure an accident site .
• Press the POWER-Button (1) to power on the device
• Press the LED-LIGHT-Button (3) to switch between the Light-Modes: LIGHT ON – FLASH - SOS - OFF
USB-Ports
Use the built-in 5 Volts USB-Ports (4) (6) to power or charge your USB-devices: e.g. cell phones, sat nav,
car electronics.
The 1st USB Port delivers a current up to 1 A (5 Watts)
The 2nd USB Port delivers a current up to 2 A (10 Watts)
ATTENTION: Don´t use the USB-Ports during jump-starting !
Storage
After use, this unit should be fully charged and stored in a dry, well ventilated place out of the reach of
children. Recharge at the latest every 3 months. Only charge with the provided charging unit.
Do not store in locations where temperature may exceed 50°C/122°F or get lower than 0°C/32°F. Protect
the unit from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
