TAKE-OFF
TAKE–OFF FROM GROUND:
1. Make sure the plane is on flat ground (no long grass) and facing into
the wind.
2. Push up on the throttle to start the plane rolling. Make small inputs to the
direction stick to keep it rolling straight.
3. Gently increase the throttle. After approximately 10 feet, the tail will start
to rise. Gradually pull the direction stick back to take off.
TAKE-OFF FROM HAND:
*For most pilots, this will require a co-pilot to help launch.
1. Have the co-pilot hold the plane by the bottom of the fuselage and arms
extended into the air above their head.
2. Once they are ready, push the throttle to full power. Have the co-pilot run
a few steps forward and launch the plane with a controlled, level toss.
3. Gently pull back on the direction stick to gain altitude.

- Emergency Shut Off: When in flight,
pull down on the throttle. The engine
will shut off.
