The Intel

®

 Chipset Device Software installs Windows INF files to the target system. 

These files outline to the operating system how to configure the Intel

®

 chipset 

components in order to ensure that the following features function properly: 

 

 

Core PCI and ISAPNP Services 

 

PCIe Support 

 

IDE/ATA33/ATA66/ATA100 Storage Support 

 

SATA Storage Support 

 

USB Support 

 

Identification of Intel

®

 Chipset Components in the Device Manager 

 

 

3-2-2. Installation of Utility for Windows 7

 

 

The Chipset Pack is to be installed only for Windows 7 series, and it should be 
installed right after the OS installation. Please follow the steps below: 

 

1. Insert the driver disk into a CD ROM device. 

2. Under Windows system, go to the directory where the Chipset driver is located. 

3. Run the application with administrative privileges.
