6.2 Reading the Settings of the WAHryTone
IMPORTANT
=> The WAHryTone is not automatically synchronized with the System Manager software. The
presets stored inside the System Manager and the WAHryTone may differ from each other. To view the presets
stored in the WAHryTone with the System Manager software, you have to read out the WAHryTone first by clicking
on the button [Read All]. All 128 presets and the global/basic settings are read.
Using the button [Read One], you can also read an individual preset.
NOTE => You can also edit all parameters without reading the WAHryTone. In this case, you need only one MIDI
cable from the XDS | XLS | XTMpro [MIDI Out] to the WahWah [MIDI In]. But be aware that the settings on the
computer screen do not necessarily correspond to the settings in the WAHryTone.
6.3 Recalling Presets
When recalling presets, you have to consider the following:
If a preset is recalled via the foot controller (StageWire or [MIDI In] of the XDS | XLS | XTMpro), the WAHryTone
loads the preset locally stored in the WahWah and the corresponding preset number within the System Manager
window will be selected. The screen shows the settings stored on the computer - If the WAHryTone has not been
read before, these settings may not match the presets stored on the WAHryTone.
The presets can also be recalled via the preset list on the left side of the System Manager window. In the window
that opens up, you can choose whether the preset saved in the WAHryTone should be recalled (thus the same as
for the MIDI preset change), or if the System Manager software shall send the settings stored in the computer to
the WAHryTone. If you select [Send], the software sends the settings displayed on the screen to the WAHryTone.
This means that the preset in the WAHryTone is temporarily overwritten. To save these settings permanently in
WAHryTone, you have to click on the button [Save Preset as ...]. Otherwise, the settings will be lost the next time
the preset is changed.
If you select [Never Send], the window will not open until the next reboot of the System Manager software and
the presets in the WAHryTone will not be replaced by the System Manager software settings.
