3. Secure the burner unit with the four screws.
4. The back of the regulator identifies each port (Fig. 5). Wrap gas-
rated sealant tape on the following three connections before
screwing them into place.
4.1 Screw the pressure gauge (C) into the GAUGE port (Fig. 5-3).
4.2 Screw the gas hose (E) into the OUT port (Fig. 5-1).
4.3 Screw the cylinder connector into the IN port (Fig. 5-2).
5. Make sure that the propane tank valve and the ball valve are both
closed before proceeding.
6. Screw the gas hose’s gas compression coupler to the ball valve on
the burner unit (Fig. 6).
7. Screw the cylinder connector’s gas compression coupler into the
propane tank (Fig. 7).
OPERATION
WARNING! Clear the installation location of all combustable
materials to avoid a fire. Flames and heat may issue from the
access opening (B).
WARNING! Shut the propane cylinder’s valve off if you smell gas
and open windows and doors to ventilate the area. Leaking
propane may ignite and result in a fire or explosion.
CHECK FOR GAS LEAKAGE
Check for gas leakage before each use. The recommended procedure
is as follows:
1. Slowly open the cylinder valve.
2. Set the flow rate on the regulator to approximately 2 to 3 PSI.
