The PXPL snowblower has been developped to fit
most three point hitch mount farm tractors.The lifting
angle of the three point hitch varies from one model of
tractor to the other, and may affect the operation of the
X-PRO blade. Therefore in order to prevent premature
wear of the skid shoes and the scraper blade and to
keep the sides of the X-PRO blade from scratching
paved surfaces,
it is essential that the X-PRO
blade be adjusted in the proper position before
putting it into service.
SNOWBLOWER ADJUSTMENT
1) Place the tractor and blower on a level surface. If
the top link of your tractor's 3 point hitch has
several holes (Fig. 37-K), select the hole to
produce a movement similar to the one shown in
Figure 34.
When there is a slope on the
ground, the snowblower's skid shoes must
remain parallel to the ground whether it is
higher or lower than the level of the tractor.
It
provides a better scraping on various slopes and
avoid the bottoming of the snowblower on surfa-
ces. You will obtain a working movement as
shown on fig. 35.
