Functions
This appliance is highly suitable for freshening up
toilets, storage spaces, studies, corridors, etc. where
the air does not circulate.
The metal filter produces static electricity that attracts
microscopic dust particles and kills bacteria. You do
not need to replace the filter. The packaging contains
an extra filter for if the first filter becomes broken.
The appliance also has a refreshing function that
quickly removes unpleasant odours.
The air purifier works fully automatically. When the air
is sufficiently clean the appliance switches to the
stand-by position. The cycle repeats every hour.
Your air purifier can also be used as a night light.
Installation
Insert the air purifier in the plug socket. You can plug
an appliance in at the bottom of the appliance. You
then have always a plug socket available. NOTE: the
plug socket on the underside of the air purifier has
maximum power of 1100W. If you connect an
appliance to this plug socket that consumes more
power this will considerably shorten the working life of
your air purifier or render it defective.
On the side of the air purifier there is a button with
which you can fully switch the appliance on
(ION
LAMP), you can choose to switch the night light
off and the air purifier on (LAMP
OFF), or you can
choose to switch off both the night light and the air
purifier (OFF).
Note
Do not place the appliance in a humid place.
Do not immerse the air purifier in water.
Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures.
Do not allow the appliance to fall.
If you are not to use the appliance for a longer period
always remove it from the plug socket.
The filter in the appliance does not have to be
replaced.
You must however clean the filter at regular
intervals. Take the filter at the top out of the air
purifier and clean the metal plates with a damp cloth.
Guarantee
The guarantee period for the
PCL-503
amounts to 2
years and commences on the date of purchase. During
the guarantee period Eltra NV will repair any defects
attributable to material or production faults. Eltra NV
may choose to either repair or replace a defective
appliance.
ELTRA NV is not obliged to repair or replace
appliances if they have become defective as a result of
damage, inappropriate use, or modifications or
adaptations made after the purchase date.
Bring the defective appliance, together with the original
receipt, back to the shop where the appliance was
bought. Always add a note with a description of the
problem.
Damage
Eltra NV can under no circumstances whatsoever be
held responsible for damage of whatever nature if the
appliance was not correctly installed according to the
specified installation instructions, nor for damage as a
result of unforeseen circumstances such as natural
disasters, lightening strike, etc. All such resulting costs
are consequently at the expense of the buyer and are
not covered by the guarantee conditions.
