WARNINGS
•
Never place the fan near flammable liquids and units operating on gas.
•
Make sure that the fan cannot come into contact with water or other liquids, this can lead to the
risk of electric shock.
•
Do not insert objects or fingers in the rotating fins of the unit. Protect your children from this danger.
•
Never try to repair the unit yourself. All interventions that are performed by an unauthorised person
could be dangerous; the warranty will be void in this case. Also the replacement of the power cord
needs to be performed by a qualified electrician
•
Use this unit only inside and operate it according to these instructions. Do not use the unit for other
purposes.
•
Do not use the unit outside and always place it in a dry environment.
•
Check the power cord from time to time. Never use the power cord, plug or appliance when they
are damaged.
•
Unplug the fan from the outlet before moving the fan.
•
Unplug the fan before cleaning the fan.
•
Make sure the fan is on a flat and stable surface during operation so that it cannot fall over.
•
Never use an extension cord.
•
Do not use chemical products to clean the fan.
•
Make sure that children are supervised by an adult when they are near a working fan.
ASSEMBLY
•
Unscrew the fixing screw and ring from the stand (1)
•
Place the weight on the bottom side of the base (2). Then screw the stand tight with the ring and
fixing screw (3)
•
Fasten the back of the safety grate on the motor using the 4 screws (4).
•
Fasten the fan blade on the rotating bar and make sure that the fan blade does not touch the
safety grate. Firmly tighten the screw (5)
•
Click the mounting brackets on the grill from the front towards the outside. Then place the grill
(front) and attach it by clicking the brackets back down (6). Insert the fixing screw (7)
•
Fasten the fan on the stand using the large and small screw (8)
OPERATION
•
The airflow can be directed up or down by loosening the large and small button on the stand
before tightening again.
•
To make the fan head swivel or put it in a fixed position use the swivel button, it is operated by
pulling it out or pushing it in.
•
The height of the fan can be adjusted by loosening the button at the bottom of the stand and
gently sliding the fan up or down. Then tighten the button again.
•
You can set the speed of the fan with the speed button on top of the device:
0 = off / 1 = low / 2 = medium / 3 = high
MAINTENANCE
Warning:
To prevent an electrical shock you should turn the unit off and unplug it from the wall outlet before you
start any maintenance or repairs.
Cleaning
•
Remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning the device.
•
Clean the enclosure with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use chemical solvents (such as benzene,
alcohol, gasoline).
•
Do not let water drops fall on the device.
