This innovative image projector has multi-functional operations and can be used for delivering images up to a
distance of about 15/20 mt. Its widest applications are in the commercial use (image projection of advertising,
brands); projection on wide surfaces; projection of colour lights, luminous messages, etc.
Advertising images and brands are realised with personalised metal gobos, according to the requests and needs
of the customer.
Projection slides or glass images are also available.
The JOKER PLJO025SEL can be easily installed for the most various applications: exhibition stands/booths,
show-rooms, commercial sites, convention centres, museums and in particular in the valorisation of objects of art
like paintings or statues, public clubs and in general in all those places where luminous advertising is a great
booster.
A complete series of accessories like the dedicated iris shutter, the manual or gradual shutter, the continuous
motorised shutter, the shaping sash-window, rotating gobos, gobos changer with timer, rotating prism, panoramic
prism, rotating slide, image multiplier.
Every JOKER is equipped with standard lens, on-board supporting trails, mounting support, mains cable and have
the possibility to mount gobos Ø 55 mm, image Ø 35 mm or slide.
Before connecting check if mains has an earth connection suitable to the characteristics of the projector. The lamp
should be connected to a 220/240V – 50/60 Hz cycle mains outlet, with an amperage of at least 4A.
Prior to any manual intervention on the appliance, disconnect the mains plug and check there is no presence of
voltage in the unit.
ATTENTION: the lamp has very hot parts inside; please await its cooling down before opening.
Please follow these recommendations for a correct operation:
- Do not start operating the JOKER before this has reached the optimal room temperature, to avoid moisture
factor.
- Avoid dipping any flammable liquid, water or metal objects inside the appliance
- Follow scrupulously the printed instructions on the label placed on the appliance.
- Mount the lamp avoiding to touch the bulb
- Once the projector is installed, the optimal temperature of operation should never exceed the grade printed on
the label.
- Do not use the projector in places where temperature is below 0° C.
- Do not use the projector for long time in places where temperature is higher than 40°C.
- Do not use the projector in environments submitted to vibrations or possible impact.
- Use only a discharge lamp of HSD250 model PLLPHSD250: do not use any other lamp not matching the
requested features.
- Lamp holder is GY9,5 type.
- A female Jack 3,5 mm is located in the frontal part and is fed at 12V: the male Jack, connected to each optional
accessory listed in the PROEL LIGHTING catalogue, has to be inserted into the female one.
- ATTENTION: if the JOKER model PLJO25SEL is switched off during operation, you must let its HSD250
discharge lamp cool down before switching the appliance on again. If a period of rest is not given to the lamp, the
continuous attempt of the ignitor to boost the lamp could bring to the breakdown of the same ignitor.
Any technical servicing should be effected only by qualified and authorised personnel to avoid cancelling of the
warranty which operates only if there has not been any unauthorised repair.
