Audio connections
Using eight XLR / XLR cables (not supplied) connect the DR8 microphone to a mixer or any
equipment with eight XLR audio inputs with phantom power. You must use the + 48V
phantom power of your mixer for the three DRM-OV microphones.
Safety precautions and guarantee conditions
• Foreign particles and dust can dirty and clog the grid and filter of your microphones, thus altering
their frequency responses. Your pickups should be stored away from dust and light after each use.
• Because of the high sensitivity of the cells (especially for the DRM-OV) be careful not to drop your
microphones on the ground and to avoid them any damaging shock.
• To maintain the sensitivity and quality of sound reproduction, avoid exposing your microphone to
moisture and extreme temperatures (eg sun).
