Use an appropriate testing
device to test the V-belt tension.

Retension the V-belt using the
clamping nut (14.1) until the
testing device shows a value
between 250 and 270 N.
4.
Reattach the cover plate.
Starter battery
See separate operating and maintenance instructions for the starter battery.
Suction plates/sealing lips
•
Remove any objects and dirt (such as sand, stone chips, dust, etc) clinging to the sealing lips before every use.
•
Clean foam rubber with compressed air and/or water jet or soap water.
•
Replace damaged or worn suction plates immediately (cracks, holes, corrugation).
•
Always replace suction plates completely.
Tip:
Heating the screw union of the suction plate makes it easier to loosen.
Seal the suction plate connection again when screwing in.
Inspecting safety features
Inspect the safety features (see chapter 2.6) at the start of every shift (if the device is not operated continuously) or once
a week (if operated continuously).
