Wireless Video Transmission
1.Install Antennas
TX: Screw three antennas (rubber duck antennas) to
antenna connectors.
RX: Screw six antennas (blade style rubber duck antenna)
to antenna connectors.
2.Cable Connect
Connect camera’s SDI output connector to the SDI input of
TX with SDI cable.
Connect RX HDMI/SDI output connector to the monitor’s
HDMI/SDI input with HDMI/SDI cable. A second SDI output
connector on RX is available for other equipment.
3.Select Frequency Point
Use frequency points selector dial to select the frequency
point. There are 0-9, total 10 frequency points on both
the TX and RX. To enable the transmission, the frequency
selector dials on TX and RX have to be at the same
position prior to operating wireless transmission.
In case of changing to another frequency, power cycle the set after selecting the
frequency.
* For different sets of XW-HDU04J/04JR, frequency
selector dials have to be at different positions.
4.Power the Set
For XW-HDU04J,both TX and RX can be powered by using V Type or 3-Stud mount
battery.
For XW-HDU04JR, TX can be powered by DC6-17V via DC IN cable. RX can be
powered by using V Type or 3-Stud mount battery.
Turn on power switches of TX and RX, the power LEDs light in green.
5.Link and Transmit
After the input signal identified, VIDEO LED and NET LED light up.
When signal link between TX and RX is established, NET LED on TX flashes, and
VEDIO LED on RX lights up.
Video signal intensity has five LEDs to indicate the intensity of RX received signal
from MIN to MAX.
