BE-0986 SERIES USER MANUAL

Flash BIOS Update

Prerequisites

Prepare a bootable media (e.g. USB storage device) which can

boot the system to EFI Shell.

Download and save the BIOS file (e.g. B9860PM1.bin) to the

bootable device.

Copy AMI flash utility – AfuEfix64.efi (v5.08.02.1189) into a

bootable device.

Make sure the target system can first boot to the bootable device.

Connect the bootable USB device.

(2)

Turn on the computer and press

<ESC>

<DEL>

during

boot to enter BIOS Setup.

(3)

The system will go into the BIOS setup menu.

(4)

Select

[Boot]

menu.

(5)

Set the USB bootable device to be the 1st boot device.

(6)

Press

to save the configuration and exit the BIOS setup

menu.
