Dear music lover, 
thank you for purchasing a PRO-JECT AUDIO amplifier. 
In order to achieve maximum performance and reliability you should study these instructions for use carefully.

Important notice. 

Connectors

Make all connections whilst the amplifier is disconnected from the power supply.

 

Connection to the preamplifier 

The Input sockets marked 

Left

 / 

Right

 are for connecting the cables from your pre-amp or AV processor. 

!

 

Take care to connect the left and right channels correctly. The right channel is usually marked red, the 

left channel black or white. 

Connection to the speakers 

The output terminals accept loudspeaker cables terminated with 4mm 

 Banana plugs, spades connectors 

or naked wire. 

!

 

Only connect one loudspeaker with an impedance not less than 4 Ohm per channel. 
The red speaker terminals carry the positive signal (+), the black speaker terminals the negative 
signal (–). Make sure the polarity of the connection is correct at each end of the cables. 

Mains power connection 

The unit is supplied with a power supply suitable for your country's mains supply. Check the label before 
connecting to ensure compliance with the mains rating in your house. Connect the low voltage plug from the 
power supply to the 

Power 20V

 

 

socket of the amplifier before connecting the power supply to the mains.

Never use any other DC power supply other than the one supplied with the unit. 

Remote power on 

The amplifier can be switched on & off via a special connection from the Pro-Ject Pre Box via the 2,5mm 

socket marked 

Trigger In

A 45cm long power-on cable (polarity 

+

) is supplied for this purpose. Longer cables are available as 

accessories. The remote power-on signal can be relayed to further units via the 

Trigger Out

 socket. 

Stand-By 

The 

Power

 button on the front panel of the unit alternately turns the power on or returns it to standby mode. 

The blue LED on the front panel shows that the unit is powered on.
