Operation
• Turn the thermostat clockwise until it clicks

NOTE:
Theheatermayemitasmallamountofsmokeandodourwhenusedforthefirsttime.Thisisnormalandcausedbythe
lubricantontheheatingelementduringtheproductionprocess.Itisnon-toxic.Ifthesmokeandodourareexcessive,usethe
heater in a ventilated area. The smoke and odour should disappear after a few minutes of use.
Thermostat Control
•
If the heater switches off before the room reaches the desired warmth, turn the thermostat clockwise to increase the
temperature setting.
• The heater will switch on and off automatically to maintain this temperature.
WARNING:
Donotleavetheapplianceswitchedonandunattendedatanytime.
Troubleshooting
•
Theheaterisfittedwithasafetydevicewhichwillswitchofftheheaterintheeventofaccidentaloverheating(e.g.obstruction
ofintakesandoutletsgrillesetc.).Toresettheappliance,disconnecttheheaterfromthemainpowerandallowittocool
down,andthenremoveanyobstructions.
Cleaning and Maintenance
•
Alwaysremovetheplugfromthesocket-outletandallowtheheatertocooldownbeforecleaningit.

Cleantheairinlet/outletgrillesfrequently,usingasoft,drycloth,topreventdustbuildingup.
•
Donotuseanychemicals,abrasivesorsolventsthatmaydamagetheheater.
•
Donotallowwatertoentertheappliance.
•
Tostoretheheater,placeitinaclean,dryenvironment,ensuringitisprotectedfromdust.
