If the supply cord is dam-
aged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly
qualifi ed persons in order
to avoid a hazard.

Investigations and repairs
to the appliance may only
be carried out by author-
ised specialists, such as our
Service department. Unau-
thorised repairs to the ap-
pliance can cause property
damage and personal inju-
ry, and invalidate liability
and warranty claims.

Never open the housing.
■
Do not try to repair the ap-
pliance yourself.
■
Only parts corresponding to
the original appliance spec-
ifi cations may be used for
repairs.
■
The appliance corresponds
to protection class I and
may only be connected to a
plug with a protective con-
ductor that has been in-
stalled properly.
■
Do not simultaneously con-
nect any other electrical
appliances with a high con-
nected load to the same cir-
cuit.
■
Do not use extension cords
or sockets that do not have
suffi cient capacity.
■
Pressing the stop button
does not disconnect the
appliance from the mains.
Ensure you only plug the
appliance into an easily
accessible socket so that it
can be quickly disconnect-
ed from the mains in the
event of a fault.

Always pull the mains plug
out of the socket,
–
when the appliance is not
in use;
–
before cleaning;
–
if a malfunction occurs;
–
if there is a storm with
thunder and lightning.

Do not put any objects in or
through the housing open-
ings and ensure that chil-
dren cannot insert any ob-
jects in them.
