Safety Overheat Protection

For safety, the Fan Heater has safety overheat protection. If the temperature inside the
Fan Heater becomes too high, the Fan Heater switches off automatically.

1.  Turn the Fan Heater off by turning the power dial to the O position, switch OFF and

unplug from the power outlet.

2.  Allow the Fan Heater to cool down for approximately 20 minutes. After this time

has elapsed, plug the Fan Heater back into the power outlet and turn the Fan
Heater back on.

NOTE:

When the safety overheat protection is activated always check for visible

obstructions of the air inlet. Remove any obstruction or use a vacuum or soft cloth to
remove any build up of dust that may be present.

NOTE:

Ensure the Fan Heater is not placed too close to walls, curtains or furniture, as

it can restrict air flow, which can cause the Fan Heater to overheat.

Safety Tip Over Switch

The Fan Heater is fitted with a safety tip over switch which will automatically switch off
the Fan Heater if it is tipped over. Always ensure that the Fan Heater is placed on a flat
stable surface when in use.

NOTE:

When moving the Fan Heater you may hear a knocking sound. This is the

sound of the tip over switch and is normal. It is a safety feature and not a product
fault.
