PRINCESS POWER BOX NICE
BATTERY POLICY AIRLINE COMPANIES
Important information on the Power Box charger and battery
As of January 1st 2016, airlines consider a Power Box charger (also referred to as a Power Bank or Power Pod)
as a spare battery. This means that the Power Box, as well as the battery attached to it, is subject to specific
regulations. The most significant of these rules and regulations are:
1. The charger may not be checked-in with your hold luggage, but needs to be transported in your cabin
luggage. For this reason Princess Traveler has made the charger removable.
2. Please ensure that the battery is fully charged, or at the very least, partially charged at the time of check-in.
This way airline security can ascertain that the battery is functional (this is achieved by pressing the ON/OFF
switch, which in turn will trigger one or several LED lights to light up).
3. The total battery capacity has to be less than 100Wh. The Princess Traveler battery has a capacity of 15 Wh
(4000 mAh version) and 30 Wh (8000 mAh version).

Lithium polymer battery

8000 mAh version/30Wh
Complies with IEC 62133 & 60950
For airline inspection
It can easily be determined whether the charger is present in the suitcase during check-in, by simply checking the
“inspection eye” located on the external side of the green cover. If the “inspection eye” is green, the charger is
still in the suitcase. If the “inspection eye” is black, the Power Box has been removed from the suitcase.
Additional Instructions: Airline companies allow for the charger to be carried in
cabin luggage. However, there exists a possibility that at the gate you would still
be asked to check-in regardless. This could happen if your cabin luggage exceeds
the maximum allowable measurements, or if the total cabin luggage occupies
more than the maximum allowable space.
Princess Traveller has made the utmost effort to clarify all rules and regulations
pertaining to the transportation of batteries based on information current as
of 01.04.2016. Passengers remain responsible for proper compliance with the
applicable rules and regulations. Policies may differ from airline to airline. Local
airline employees and local airlines can apply a different policy. Princess Traveller
rejects any liability arising from the passengers’ failure to comply with
established regulations and/or different airline policies in force and their impact.
