- Dompel de verwarmingsbasis nooit in water of andere vloeistof onder.
- Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact voor het schoonmaken en bij storingen. Haal de stekker ook
uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet in gebruik is.
- De verwarmingsbasis en de diverse onderdelen worden erg heet: zorg dat kinderen er niet bij kunnen
en wees er zelf ook voorzichtig mee. Pak de onderdelen alleen beet aan de handgreep.
- Zorg dat het apparaat niet zo dicht bij de rand van tafel, werkblad e.d. staat dat iemand het eraf zou
kunnen stoten; zorg ook dat het snoer niet zodanig hangt dat men erover zou kunnen struikelen of
erachter kan blijven haken.
- Gebruik het apparaat niet als het beschadigd is of als het snoer beschadigd is, maar stuur het dan naar
onze servicedienst.
- Plaats het apparaat niet op of in de directe nabijheid van een hete kookplaat e.d.
- Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik.
- Controleer regelmatig of de handgrepen nog goed aan de pan bevestigd zijn.
- Verplaats het apparaat niet zolang de inhoud en de verwarmingsbasis nog heet zijn.
- Zet de pan altijd op een stabiele en vlakke ondergrond.
- Gebruik deze set niet buitenshuis.
- De onderdelen van deze set zijn voorzien van een antiaanbaklaag op PTFE-basis. Bij verwarming
hiervan kunnen uiterst kleine hoeveelheden gassen afgegeven worden, die voor de mens volkomen
onschadelijk zijn. Gebleken is echter dat het zenuwstelsel van vogels hiervoor extreem gevoelig is.
Daarom raden wij aan om deze set niet in de buurt van vogels (denk aan siervogels zoals papegaaien)
te gebruiken.

BEFORE USING
Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check that your domestic
electricity supply matches that of the appliance. Plug this appliance only into an earthed outlet.
Remove any stickers and wash all parts before use (except the heating base) in warm soapy water and
rinse well.
Do not use sharp tools in the pan, this can damage the non-stick coating. Use the forks to prick the
ingredients only, avoiding the pan itself.

Note:
During use the temperature light will flicker. This is normal and shows that the thermostat is working
properly and the set temperature is being maintained. Remove the plug from the socket when the heating
base is not in use.
Make sure the base is placed on a sturdy table or other stable surface. Do not place the appliance on a
(hot) cooker. Put the plug into the socket and set the thermostat button to the desired temperature. It will
take a few minutes to heat up. You can use this time to prepare the ingredients. When the correct
temperature has been reached the temperature lamp will go out.
Allow all parts to cool down before putting the appliance away.
USING THE FONDUE
The adjustable temperature setting makes the fondue pan ideally suited for different fondues,
such as the classic meat fondue, but also a cheese fondue, a chocolate fondue or a Chinese
fondue (with bouillon). Add the desired ingredients to the pan and place this on the
heating base. Fill the pan with oil, cheese, bouillon or chocolate, but do not overfill the
pan. The pan must be filled to above the minimum level but below the maximum level.
