FOOD PROCESSOR
The Food Processor is designed for chopping meat, hard cheeses, carrots, onions, peppers, garlic,
herbs, and nuts. Anti-skid feet help secure the bowl while operating.
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
•
IMPORTANT:
Before use, pre-cut food into small pieces for easy chopping.
• Remove any bones, tendons, or gristle from meat to help prevent damage to the blades.
• Refer to the processing guide (below) for maximum quantities and recommended speeds.
•
Caution: Blade is very sharp!
Always hold it by the upper plastic part and handle with care.
• Place the blade on the center pin of the food processor bowl. Press it down and lock it
into place.
• Place food into the food processor container and place Lid on top.
• Insert the Blender Motor into the top of the Lid and turn clockwise until it locks into position,
using the locked and unlocked icons as a guide. Plug into outlet.
• Turn the appliance on by pressing and holding the speed
I
button and adjust as necessary with
the speed control dial.
IMPORTANT
: Always chop harder foods, i.e. Parmesan cheese or nuts,
at full speed or TURBO.
• Always hold motor with one hand and the container with the other.
• When chopping is complete, remove the Blender Motor from the food processor Lid by turning
counter clockwise.
• After use, unplug the appliance and remove the Lid and take out the blade carefully.
• Remove the processed food from container.
CAUTION:
•
BLADE IS VERY SHARP!
•
Do not
use Food Processor to process extremely hard foods such as unshelled nuts, ice cubes,
coffee beans, grains, or hard spices like nutmeg. This could damage the blade.
• Food Processor is intended for processing small quantities of food. The appliance is not intended
to prepare large quantities of food at one time.
• Never place the food processor container in the microwave.
•
Do not
operate the Food Processor for more than 30 seconds and no longer than 10 seconds for
hard food to prevent the motor from overheating.
•
Do not
fill beyond the 20 oz. measuring line indication on the container.
• If using the Food Processor to puree hot food, allow food to cool slightly to avoid the risk of
scalding.
