5.2 Centering the Objectives
When viewing a sample on the rotating stage, it is important that the objective is
located exactly above the center of rotation of the stage.
Therefore, the objectives of Primotech D/A POL and Primotech D/POL Conoscopy
can be centered. The centering procedure should also always be performed after
changing an objective.
Procedure
1
Move the object guide to place a distinctive object in the sample at the center
of the crosshair by moving the sample on the table.

Slowly rotate the stage until the object is at the furthest point from the
crosshair.
