5. Safety tips 

 

 

 

This appliance requires installation by a competent person  

 

 

This appliance requires a hose and regulator, check with your 

gas supplier.  

 

Don’t use in leisure vehicles such as caravans and auto caravans.  

 

 

The fire risks which would result to the positioning of the 

appliance close to walls, furniture, hangings, net curtains, bed 
linen and other inflammable materials. Minimum clearance to 
combustibles to the rear and sides of the heater is 100cm.  

 

 

Do not use the appliance unless the chrome wire safety guard is 

in place.  

 

 

The guard on this appliance is to prevent risk of fire or injury 

from burns and no part of it should be permanently removed. 
IT DOES NOT GIVE FULL PROTECTION FOR YONG CHILDREN OR 
THE INFIRM.  

 

 

To avoid twisting the flexible tubing or the hose.  

 

 

Do not move the appliance when lit or in use. Be aware that 

even after use the appliance remains hot for several minutes.  

 

 

Do not use the appliance if it is leaking gas (see notes on how to 

check for a gas leak).
