Weighing liquid goods
The scale shows the weight of water and milk in milliliters (ml) or fluid
ounces. Therefore, you do not require any additional measuring cups when
measuring these liquids.
To weigh liquids:
1.
Place the scale on a stable, flat surface.
2.
Switch the scale on by pressing the ON/OFF/TARE button. After several
seconds, “0“appears in the display. The scale is calibrated and you can
start to weigh.
3.
Place a container on the weighing surface.
4.
Press the ON/OFF/TARE button again. “0” appears in the display.
5.
Press the MODE button repeatedly if you want to set different
measuring unit, until a small bar appears above
MILK/WATER
in the
display. The scale is ready.
6.
Carefully fill the liquid into the container, which is placed on the
weighing surface. The measured weight with then appear on the
display.
Adding goods for weighing
This function is practical, e.g. when baking, if you intend to add another
ingredient to an ingredient that is already situated on the scale.
1.
Press the ON/OFF/TARE button, in order to reset the scale to 0.
2.
Add the new goods to be weighed. In the display, the weight of the
added goods is shown.
3.
Repeat the process, if you intend to add more ingredients.
Switching off the scale
Keep the ON/OFF/TARE button pressed until the display switches off.
If the scale is not used for approx. 60 seconds, it will switch off
automatically.
Special functions
Changing units of measurement
The scale can weigh and display goods to be weighed in grams (g) and
milliliters (ml) or in pounds/ounces (lb:oz) and fluid ounces (fl:oz). By
default, the scale is preset to grams.
In order to change the unit of measurement:
1.
Switch the scale on.
2.
Repeatedly press the MODE button in order to switch between the units
of measurement.
Overload display
When O-Ld appears in the display during weighing, the maximum capacity
of 5000g (11 lbs) has been exceeded.
Remove the goods to be weighed from the scale.
Cleaning
The kitchen scale must not be immersed in water or any other liquid.
