The RS232 input allows you to connect the A30.7
to a controller system. For more information
please contact Primare or visit www.primare.net.

The Trigger input allows the A30.7 to be switched
on by a preamplifier or processor. The output
allows you to daisy-chain the trigger signal to
further devices.

Internally channels 5, 6, and 7 are 180° out
of phase compared to channels 1, 2, 3, and 4,
which means that the active speaker terminal on
channels 5, 6, and 7 is the positive terminal. This
is normally not significant when connecting to
standard loudspeakers.

If you are connecting to a subwoofer with
“high-level inputs” (also called “speaker level
inputs”), note that most subwoofers have their
two negative speaker terminals (minus) shorted
internally. Connecting one channel from channels
1, 2, 3, or 4 and one from channels 5, 6, or 7 will
short the output of the amplifier.

You must therefore arrange the channels so you
only use channels 1, 2, 3, or 4 to connect to the
subwoofer.
