Guidelines:

Capturing EDID data from a specific device requires a DVI or VGA connection.
+
When capturing EDID, the I/O Module looks at the connectors in a specific order - Stage DVI first, then Stage VGA,
and finally Preview DVI - and the first connected device found is the only data that is captured. To reduce the
possibility of incorrect capture, it can be best if only one device is connected at the time that EDID is captured.

EDID must be captured for each of the I/O Module’s output sections separately.

It is best practice to use the same EDID for both outputs when using the I/O Module. Failure to do so may result in
a refresh frequency mismatch between the outputs, causing playback on one or both outputs to be more jerky that
otherwise.
The following chart shows the frequencies available in each of the I/O module’s three default EDID sets when a
broadcast resolution (e.g. 720p - 1280 x 720) is selected in the System Preferences > Displays pref pane.
Note:
Additional frequencies (e.g. 75Hz) may be available in the default EDID sets, but only when certain VESA
resolutions are selected.
Switching Between Standard EDID or Capturing EDID
The I/O Module’s current EDID set can be changed using the Stage Blackout, Preview Dim, and EDID Capture switches
on the front of the I/O Module. The position of the first two switches (Yes or No) when the third switch is engaged, will
determine if one of the three default EDID sets is selected or if custom EDID is captured.
