Separating the Upper Case from the Lower Case

8. Disconnect the touch pad cable by using plastic tweezers.
9. Release the fourteen screws from the bottom of the main unit, and the other 5 screws as shown.
10. Detach the upper case from the main board and flip it over gently. Disconnect the cover switch cable
from the main board. Then remove the upper case.

6. Disconnect the 2nd fan cable from the main board, remove the two screws as shown, and then remove
the 2nd fan from the main board.
