5.1 Changing the Aspect Ratio
The widescreen (16:9) design of your LCD TV allows you to view films in their original aspect ratio without distortion.
Standard definition TV programmes are broadcast with an (4:3) aspect ratio. When 4:3 content is displayed on a
widescreen panel, black bars will appear to the left and right of the video image. If you want to eliminate the black bars
and have the video image fill the screen it is necessary to change the aspect ratio mode.

To change the aspect ratio, you can use the remote control or OSD.
Using the Remote Control
Press the VIEW MODE button to toggle between Wide, Normal, or Letter Box aspect ratios.
Using the OSD
1. Press the MENU button to open the OSD main menu.
2. Press the > button three times to select the option icon and press ENTER to open the Set Up menu.
