Primary Master
The Primary Master sub-menu contains parameters related to the primary hard disk.
CAUTION: The parameters in this screen are for the advanced users only. Typically, you do not need to
change the values in this screen. The default setting of Auto optimizes all the settings for your hard
disk.

Multi-Sector Transfers Specify the number of sectors per block for multiple
sector transfers. 16 Sectors
LBA Mode Control Enabling LBA causes Logical Block Adddressing to
be used in place of Cylinders, Heads and Sectors. Enabled
32 Bit I/O The setting of 32 bit IDE data transfers . Disabled or Enabled
Transfer Mode Select the method for moving data to/from the drive.
Autotype the drive to select the optimum transfer
mode. EPIO 4/DMA 2
Ultra DMA Mode Selects the Ultra DMA mode used for moving data
to/from the drive. Autotype the drive to select the
optimum transfer mode. Disabled
