Lighting the infrare d burner
1. O p en lid while lighting b urner.
2. M ake sure th e co ntro l knob is l o cke d in the O FF p ositio n.
3. O p en n atural gas valve.
4. Push an d t urn co nt ro l k n o b to H I G H s et ting. A f t er lighting, p l e as e o b s er ve t h e
ceramic p late o n th e sur face o f b urner: it sho uld fe el warm a fter 5 -10 se co n ds
and th e co lo ur o f th e ceramic p late sh o uld turn re d in 2-3 minute s.
5. I f b urner d o e s not light o n the first tr y, turn th e co ntro l knob to its O FF p ositio n and
wait 5 minutes fo r gas to cle ar b efo re tr ying again. If b urner flame go es o ut
during
o p eratio n, imme diate ly turn th e gas o f f and o p en lid to let th e gas cle ar
fo r ab o ut 5 minutes. Attempt to re -light.
6. Cle an yo ur grill af ter e a ch use. D O N OT use ab rasive o r flammab le cle ansers, as
it will d am age the p ar ts o f this p ro du ct an d ma y star t a fire. Cle an with warm so
apy water.
