INSTALLATION STEPS: Two-Handle Lavatory
Faucet
Shut off water supply at angle stop.
Remove old faucet. Clean sink surface
in preparation for new faucet. Ensure
the gasket (1) is on the bottom of the
new faucet (2). Place the faucet (2)
through the mounting holes in the sink.
Secure the faucet (2) to the sink using
the mounting nuts (3) provided.
Hand-tighten only.
NOTE
: A silicone sealant is required
under the gasket (1).

To maintain and protect the fine luster of all products, clean with a soft, damp cloth
only. DO NOT USE detergents or cleaners as they may harm the protective finish.

5. Slide the lift rod (1) into the lift rod
strap (2) through the faucet until it clicks
into the lift rod strap (2).
NOTE: If a shorter lift rod (1) is required
for your installation, you may call Glacier
Bay Customer Service for assistance.
Press the horizontal rod (1) down to
ensure the stopper (2) is in the maximum
open position. Slide the clip (3) upward,
adjust the location of the lift rod strap (4)
to the appropriate height, and insert the
horizontal rod (1) with the correct hole of
the lift rod strap (4). Move the lift rod
strap (4) in or out to choose an
appropriate location. Slide the clip (3)
down until it secures to the horizontal
rod (1).

Adjustable wrench
Groove joint pliers
Pipe wrench

Thread sealant tape
Basin wrench
Silicone sealant
Move the lift rod (1) up and down to
verify that the stopper (2) opens and
closes correctly.

Apply silicone sealant (not included)
under the drain flange (1) and place the
drain flange (1) into the drain hole of the
sink. From underneath the sink, screw
the drain body (2) onto the drain flange
(1). Ensure that the opening (3) for the
ball rod on the drain body (2) faces
the rear of the sink. Tighten the rubber
washer (4) and lock nut (5) on the drain
body (2). Hand-tighten only.

4.Before installation, unscrew the protective
cap (1) from the horizontal rod (2). Insert
the stopper (3) into the drain hole in the
sink. Insert the horizontal rod (2) into the
drain body (4) and through the hole of the
stopper (3) until you hear a click. See insert
1. You can press the two sides of the joint
(5) to remove the horizontal rod (2).
NOTE: For easier removal and cleaning,
rotate the stopper (3) 90 degrees so that
the horizontal rod (2) does not go through
the hole in the stopper (3). See insert 2.
Remove the pop-up stopper (1) and
drain flange (2) from the drain body (3).

9.Making the waterline connections:
Use 1/2" IPS faucet connections
(2, not included), or use the coupling
nuts (3, not included) with a 3/8" OD
ball-nose riser (1, not included).
Use wrenches when tightening. Do not
overtighten.

Important
: After finishing installation,
remove the aerator. Do not lose the
gasket (1) in the aerator. Turn on the
water supply and allow hot and cold
water to run for at least one minute
each. This flushes away debris that
could damage internal parts. While
the water is running, check for leaks.
Turn off the water and replace the
aerator.
10.
Adjusting the length of lift rod strap (optional)
If the pop-up lift rod strap (1) is interfering with
your installation, as shown in Fig. 1, the lift rod
strap (1) can be shortened. Once you have
identified the proper hole in the lift rod strap (1)
that is necessary for your installation, you may
cut off the bottom portion (2) of the lift rod strap
(1) with pliers or a saw at the cutting point (3)
as shown in Fig. 2. Ensure the clip (4) does
not slide off the lift rod strap (1).
