D. OPERATING INTRUCTIONS
Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the appliance's rated
specification.
The control switch (C) and the thermostat knob (D) enable you to select the
following functions:
Selector switch(C) :
{
= “OFF”. Both the fan and the two heating elements are
switched off.
= “Cool air”. Only the fan is switched on.
I
= “Warm air” for gradual heat-up. Low power position: the fan
and one of the heating elements is switched on.
II
= “Hot air” for quick heat-up. High power: the fan
and both heating elements are switched on.
Thermostat knob (D
):
With the thermostat switch you can set a constant room
temperature. When the selector switch is set to position
I
or position
II
the
heater will automatically switch on as soon as the room temperature falls below
the set temperature.
As soon as the set temperature is reached, they will switch off.
Rotate the knob clockwise to obtain a higher temperature setting or anti-
clockwise for a lower temperature setting. You may adjust the thermostat
during use.
To find the ideal thermostat setting:

First set the switch to maximum position. (rotate clockwise until the knob
stops.)

As soon as the temperature is comfortable, turn the knob anti-clockwise
slowly until the heater goes off.
Power on indicator light (E)

The power on light (E) indicates that the heater is switched on and
operating in one of the following settings (
, I or II). When the heater
switches off after reaching the set temperature, the light goes out.
E. SAFETY FEATURES
1. A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent overheating.
2. When an overheat temperature is reached, the unit will be automatically
shut off. Remove the mains plug from the socket. See
RESET
INSTRUCTIONS
below to reset your heater.
F. RESET INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unplug the heater then turn your Fan Heater "OFF" and wait 10 minutes for
the unit to cool down.
2. Check that there are no objects around the unit, which may have caused it
to overheat.
3. After 10 minutes, plug the unit in again and operate normally.
4. If the unit overheats again, unplug and return to your retailer or a qualified
service engineer for inspection and repair.
TIPOVER SWITCH: YOUR HEATER HAS A SAFTEY TIPOVER
SWITCH (F) AND IF KNOCKED OVER THE HEATER WILL
STOP OPERATING, UNTIL IT IS PLACED IN THE UPTIGHT
POSITION.
