OPERATION 

 
Plug the mains lead into a 13 Amp mains socket. 
If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the lead is rated at 13 Amps or 
more, and that it is fully unwound. 
Switch the unit on at the mains socket. 
Turn the power to the unit on at the switch on the rear (Fig 
1.) the unit will beep and the display (Fig 4) will show “--“. 
The unit is in standby mode, to turn on press the mode 
button (Fig 2) on the top of the unit (Fig 3). 
When first turned on the heater will be in LO power mode and the 
thermostat is set at 23°C (Fig 3.). Repeatedly pressing the mode button will cycle 
through the running modes in order LO 

– HI – ECO – OFF, these 

modes are described in detail further below. 

Thermostat Setting:

 As mentioned above the thermostat is set to 

the default value of 23°C, to change the desired temperature press 
the      or       buttons (Fig 3) till the desired temperature is 
achieved. The value can be between 5°C and 30°C in 1°C 
intervals. 

Mode Functions

 

LO 

– LO shows on the display Fig 4. 

Heater runs at LO Power (750W) till the 
desired temperature set on the 
thermostat is reached, at this point the 
heater and fan will stop for a minimum 
of 30 seconds. After this time if the 
room temperature has dropped below 
the thermostat temperature the unit will 
resume at LO power otherwise it will 
remain in standby mode till the room temperature drops sufficiently. 

 

HI 

– HI shows on the display Fig 4. Heater runs at HI Power (1500W) till 

the desired temperature set on the thermostat is reached, at this point 
the heater and fan will stop for a 
minimum of 30 seconds. After this time if 
the room temperature has dropped 
below the thermostat temperature the 
unit will resume at HI power otherwise it 
will remain in standby mode till the room 
temperature drops sufficiently. 

 

ECO 

– ECO shows in the display, Fig 4. 

In ECO mode the unit has two separate 
functions. 

1.  Temperature Control. The unit selects the appropriate power 

according to the differential between the room temperature and 
the set thermostat temperature. If the room temperature is more 
than 1.5°C lower than the thermostat temperature the unit will
