Draining condensation water
Emptying the condensate reservoir
The condensation water (condensate) collects in the condensate reservoir. The amount of condensate that
forms is dependent on the load and the ambient temperature of the compressor.
Empty the condensate reservoir after every use:
The compressor must be vented to enable the condensate reservoir to be emptied.
ATTENTION!
Condensate is a water pollutant. Risk of environmental pollution.
Dispose of condensate in accordance with the statutory regulations in force at the site of use.
Absorb spilled condensate with a binding agent.
Wipe up absorbed condensate with a cloth.
Dispose of the cloth in accordance with the statutory regulations in force at the site of use.
To empty the condensate reservoir, proceed as follows:
Gently turning clockwise, screw the bottle (2) out of
the condensate reservoir lid (1).
Empty the condensate from the bottle (2) in accord-
ance with the statutory regulations in force at the site
of use.
Gently turning counterclockwise, screw the bottle (2)
into the condensate reservoir lid (1).
Venting the final pressure safety valve
The final pressure safety valve must be checked at regular intervals. The safety valve can be vented for this
purpose. To do so, proceed as follows:
Switch on the compressor at the ON switch.
Turn the knurled venting screw fitting (1) at the top
of the safety valve (2) clockwise until the safety
valve blows off.
Switch off the compressor.
Vent the compressor manually.
Twist out the venting screw fitting (1) counterclock-
wise entirely.
