MEGAPROX2-P is a high-performance UHF reader. It has been developed for hands-free access
control applications and can identify people moving in a corridor up to 2 or 4 m wide. MEGAPROX2-P
reader is available in single or dual-antenna versions, with an optional passage sensor system that
can count people and log their direction of passage. It can be installed indoors or outdoors.

Total coverage and reliable reading performance
MEGAPROX2-P hands-free reader includes a latest
generation URF module and an innovative dual-
antenna system, and automatically maximises the
coverage area to give an optimal performance in
reading tags. It is an ideal system for identifying
moving people.

Single-unit and gate versions
Two versions are available to ensure the highest level
of performance, whatever the confi guration of your
building: a single-unit version (2 built-in antennas) or
a gate version (2 x 2 antennas). The single-unit version
covers an identifi cation range of up to 2 m*. The gate
version extends the reader’s coverage to 4 m*.

Easy to integrate and install
The reader’s slimline design (80 x 30 x 5 cm) and
electronics have been specially developed for
discreet integration in all areas of a building, where
identifi cation may be a requirement – entrance foyer,
corridors, etc.
MEGAPROX2-P UHF reader requires no electronic
confi guration and can be very quickly and easily
installed and activated.
The system is immediately compatible with existing
access control systems, using standard communication
interfaces (Data/Clock, Wiegand, RS232).

been developed to withstand crowded environments.
MEGAPROX2-P is rated IP65 and can be installed
indoors or outdoors.

Direction sensors and counter function
(optional)
Your contactless identifi cation system gets even
smarter in the version with passage sensor. It can
be used to identify everyone who walks by without
carrying an ID card, but it can also count and
analyse the direction of travel of those people in a
predetermined zone.

reader set-up and installation environment. External interferences may lead to shorter distances.
