MOUNT SANDER
Refer to Figure 2.
• The sander must be installed in a well-lighted area with
correct power supply.
• Sander can be installed on either a workbench or a tool
stand by using bolts, lock washers, and hex nuts.
• The sander must be bolted to a firm and level surface.
• There must be enough clearance for the moving
workpiece during operation. There must be enough
room for safey operation of the machine.
• Figure 2 shows the base dimensions and mounting
holes.
ATTACH ABRASIVE SLEEVES
Refer to Figures 3 and 4.
TO ATTACH ½ ABRASIVE SLEEVE
• Place the ½ table insert over spindle and onto the table.
The top side of the insert has directional arrows, as
shown.
• Slide sleeve over the spindle.
• Tighten the knob by turning counterclockwise to secure
sleeve in positon so that sleeve will not spin loose
during operation.
TO ATTACH ¾” – 3” ABRASIVE SLEEVES
Example: 2”
• Place the 2” table insert over spindle and onto the table.
The top side of the insert has directional arrows, as
shown.
• Slide 2” sleeve over the 2” drum first, then slide drum
with sleeve onto spindle.
• Place 2" drum washer on drum.
• Tighten the knob to secure drum in position. Knob and
washer must hold the drum securely so that it does not
spin loose during operation.
ONBOARD STORAGE
Onboard storage is provided to hold drums, inserts and
washers.
