• Place the reversible fence UNDER the universal router
plate. The straight edge or curved edge will need to
be oriented to the application being used. Secure in
place with the fence knobs.

When not in use,
store the reversible fence and knobs in a safe place for
future use.

USING THE FENCE

These are examples for using a straight bit for a
straight edge cut and a dado.

• Place the reversible fence UNDER the universal router
plate and align the straight edge of the fence with the
straight bit. Secure in place with the fence knobs.

• After completing the edge cut, reset the fence for
the dado to be cut. Measure from the center of the
dado location to the edge of the workpiece. Use this
measurement to adjust the fence from the center of the
bit to the straight edge of the fence.

MAINTENANCE
• Carnauba wax may be applied to the universal router
plate to reduce scratching and make it slide easier. If
scratching does occur, carefully polish with plastic polish
until the scratches are removed.
