Tighten the clamps.
7.2
Assembly of transverse guide (fig. 2)
The transverse guide (3) is for mitre sawing; the transverse guide (3) can also be used at
the same time as a support for the material as you guide it through the saw.
8 OPERATION
8.1
Inclination of the table. (fig. 3)
The saw bench can be tilted 45 degrees. This is done as follows:
Loosen the lock nut under the bench
Tilt the bench by hand until the desired angle is reached.
The angle can be read from a calibrated scale on the appliance.
Tighten the lock nut.
8.2
Installation of the saw blade (fig. 4)
Before performing any work on the equipment, pull the power plug.
Choose the correct saw blade for the type of wood to be worked on.
Jiggle the tightening screw upward.
Glide the saw blade teeth downward through the groove. Be sure that he saw blade joggle
(or the saw blade adapter) slides into the bottom groove. There is an observation window
on the front of the appliance. By peering through it you can see whether the saw blade sits
securely in the bottom blade holder.
Pull the saw blade upward so that the top joggle bolt (or saw blade adapter) slides into
the top holder.
Loosen the tightening screw until the spring is no longer under tension.
Remove tools and other objects from the saw bench. Turn on the power and let the saw
blade run before you begin to saw. Check that the saw blade is running smoothly.
Attach the saw blade adapter to the saw blade (for scrolling). Ensure that the hexagonal
nuts are tightened far enough that the blade does not sit askew and thus cuts unevenly.
Mount the unit in the holder as per the instructions in the section "Saw blade installation"
8.3
Removing the saw blade
Before performing any work on the equipment, pull the power plug.
Loosen the tightening screw until the spring is no longer under tension.
Push the top saw blade holder downward and raise the blade slightly to make it easier to
remove.
Lower the blade slightly and push it forward to detach the lower blade holder.
8.4
Use
The saw blade cuts only in downward movement.
Shove the workpiece slowly and with minimal pressure toward the saw blade.
Hold the workpiece on the bench firmly with both hands and push slowly toward the blade,
taking care that the blade does not break or deflect.
The saw blade must be sharp for optimal results.
Use the right saw blade. The choice of blade depends on the hardness of the wood and
on the desired cut. Generally speaking one can say the thing and harder the wood, the
finer the blade teeth. Use a narrow blade to saw acute roundings.
