Before making the first cut using the saw, let it run for a while; Watch for vibration or
wobbling that could indicate poor installation or a poorly balanced blade. Adjust or replace
as necessary.

Allow the blade to run up to full speed before cutting.

Stop operation immediately if you notice anything abnormal.

Do not attempt to lock the trigger in the on position.

Wait for saw blade to stop completely and remove from mains supply before servicing or
adjusting tool.

Be alert at all times, especially during repetitive, monotonous operations. Don't be lulled
into a false sense of security. Blades are extremely unforgiving.

Use of improper accessories such as abrasive wheels may cause damage to the saw and
surrounding area as well as increasing the risk of in jury.

Turn off the saw and wait for it to complete stop before moving workpiece or changing
settings.

Do not modify the saw to do tasks other than those intended.

6  ASSEMBLY

Note: always ensure that the saw is turned off and the plug is removed from
the mains supply before any repairs or maintenance are carried out

6.1

Bench mounting

The saw base has mounting holes (10) in each corner to facilitate bench mounting .
Mount the saw to a level bench or work table by using bolts (not supplied) and rubber foot
(supplied).

6.2

Release knob

The release knob (18) is provided for holding the cutting head down while transporting or
storing the mitre saw, The saw must never be used with the release knob locking the head
down.

6.3

Spindle lock lever

The spindle lock lever (19) prevents the blade in the saw from rotating. Depress and hold the
spindle lock lever while using spanner to install  or remove the blade.

6.4

Blade replacement

Note:  Before  replace  the  saw  blade,  turn  off  the  switch  and  disconnect
the plug from the power outlet.

Fig. 3

Press the spindle lock lever (19) to activate it,
turn the saw blade by hand until it locked.

Loosen the blade lock bolt by turning it
clockwise using the spanner (supplied).

Remove the lock bolt, outer flange, saw blade
and inner flange .

Remove the chips or sawdust from around the
spindle and flanges.
