Unlock the Clips. Remove the Top Lid and disassemble the components: 
Transparent Cover, Stainless Steel Dish & Stainless Steel Inner Pot. 

 

Add  water  (a  mixture  containing  1  part  vinegar  and  3  parts  water  can 
also  be used)  to about  50% of the height  of the Inner Pot,  and put  the 
pot onto the Heating Base.  

 

Carefully  add  water  into  the  space  between  the  Heating  Base  and  the 
Inner Pot, but do not let water overflow. 

 

Place the Stainless Steel Dish on top of the Inner Pot and cover the Dish 
with the Transparent Cover. 

 

Attach the Top Lid to the Heating Base, and secure it using the clips at 
the side of the Top Lid. DO NOT open the Lid during heating.  

 

Attach the power cable to the appliance and then plug the power cable 
into the electric mains and switch on.  Press the ON/OFF  button on the 
Control Panel. A red indicator light will illuminate the Control Panel and 
heating commences. 

 

Once the water starts boiling, wait for 3 minutes, switch off the appliance, 
unplug  the  power  cable  from  the  electric  mains,  followed  by  the 
appliance.  Wait  for  the  water  to  cool  after  boiling.  Discard  the  water. 
Then the appliance is safe to use.

(Subsequent uses)  

 

Place food  into the Inner Pot  and place the Inner Pot onto the  Heating 
Base.  

 

Carefully  add  water  into  the  space  between  the  Heating  Base  and  the 
Inner Pot. (optional: Place the Stainless Steel Dish containing food to be 
steamed on top of the Inner Pot.)  

 

Cover the Dish/Inner Pot with the Cover; lock the Top Lid to the Heating 
Base using the clips. 

 

Switch  on  the  appliance  and  press  the  ON/OFF  button  on  the  Control 
Panel. 

 

When the food is cooked, the ‘COOK’ Indicator light will be replaced by 
the  ‘WARM’  Indicator  light.  Switch  off  the  appliance,  unplug  the  power 
cable  from  the  electric  mains,  followed  from  the  appliance.  Unlock  the 
Clips. Take the food out.  

Make sure to remove any label or protective sheet which may prevent its proper 
functioning. 
DO NOT:  

 

cover the appliance during functioning; 

 

obstruct totally nor partially the Lid; 

 

insert objects or body parts inside the protection cover of the appliance; 

 

add excess water in the Dish, Inner Pot or Heating Base; 

 

maintain  the  food  (including  rice)  for  more  than  12  hours  in  the  appliance,
