Unpack pressure washer
Remove everything from carton except pressure washer.

Open carton completely by cutting each corner from top to bottom.

Ensure you have all included items prior to assembly. If items are

damaged or missing, call

Assemble pressure washer
Place handle (A) onto handle supports (B) connected to main

unit. Make sure holes (C) in handle align with holes (C) on handle
supports.

NOTICE
It may be necessary to move the handle supports from side to
side in order to align the handle so it will slide over the handle supports.
Place cleaning tanks (D) over holes on handle (viewing from rear

of unit). Push tree clips (E) into top holes until they sit flat against
cleaning tanks.

Insert carriage bolts (F) through bottom holes of cleaning tanks, the

handle and handle supports from rear of unit and attach a plastic
knob (G) from front of unit. Tighten by hand.

Attach rope guide (H) through handle with plastic knob (J). Tighten
4.
by hand. Route engine recoil rope through guide.

Place accessory tray (K) over holes on handle (viewing from front of
5.
unit). Push four tree clips (L) into the holes until they sit flat against
the accessory tray.

Insert multi–colored spray tips and other supplied accessories in
6.
spaces provided in accessory tray. See
How to Use Accessory Tray,
in operator’s manual.
Attach detergent siphon hose (M) to barbed hose fitting (N) closest
7.
to high pressure outlet connection (P) on pump.

Add engine oil and fuel
NOTICE
You MUST properly fill engine with oil before attempting to start
pressure washer.
NOTICE
DO NOT use E85 fuel.
NOTICE
DO NOT mix oil with fuel.
Move pressure washer outdoors to a flat, level surface.

Clean area around oil fill and remove oil fill cap/dipstick (Q).

Using oil funnel (optional), slowly pour contents of provided oil

bottle into oil fill opening.
Replace oil fill cap/dipstick and fully tighten.

Clean area around the fuel cap (R).
5.

Remove fuel cap and add clean, fresh, UNLEADED fuel. Allow 1.5 in.
6.
(4 cm) space in fuel tank for fuel expansion.
Replace fuel cap and let any spilled fuel evaporate before starting

engine.
Move pressure washer
to safe operating location
WARNING
Outdoor use ONLY. DO NOT start or run engine indoors
or in an enclosed area, even if windows and doors are open.
Running engines give off carbon monoxide, an odorless,
poison gas that can cause nausea, fainting or death.
Move pressure washer outdoors to a flat, level surface. Running

Keep at least 5 ft. (1.5 m) clearance on all sides of pressure washer

including overhead to reduce the risk of exhaust heat or exhaust
gases igniting nearby combustible material.
Connect spray gun
NOTICE
Remove and discard the shipping caps from the pump’s high
pressure outlet and water inlet before attaching hoses.
Uncoil high pressure hose (S) and attach one end of hose to base of

spray gun (T). Tighten by hand.

Attach other end of high pressure hose (S) to high pressure outlet

(U) on pump. Tighten by hand.

Connect water supply
1. Inspect garden hose inlet screen for damage.

NOTICE
If inlet screen is damaged or missing, DO NOT use pressure
washer, call

Clean screen if it contains debris or have it replaced if damaged. DO

NOT run pressure washer if inlet screen is damaged or missing.
Run cold water through garden hose for 30 seconds to clean out any
3.
debris. Garden hose length must not exceed 50 ft. (15 m). Turn off
water supply and attach garden hose (V) to water inlet (W). Tighten by
hand.

Start pressure washer
NOTICE
You MUST connect and turn on water supply fully before
starting engine.
Put on safety goggles.

WARNING
Risk of eye injury. Spray can splash back or propel
objects. Always wear indirect vented (chemical splash)
safety goggles, marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1
when using or in vicinity of this equipment. NEVER
substitute safety glasses or dry-condition goggles for indirect
vented safety goggles.
Turn on water supply.

Point gun in a safe direction and press red safety button on spray
3.
gun and pull trigger until water comes out in a steady stream.

Attach nozzle extension (X) to spray gun (T). Tighten by hand.

Choose desired quick-connect spray tip (Y), pull back on collar of

nozzle extension (X), insert spray tip and release collar. Tug on spray
tip to make sure it is securely in place.

Push engine rocker switch (Z) to on position (I or ON).

NOTICE
This unit is equipped with a ReadyStart® engine. A
ReadyStart® engine means there is no priming or choking required.
WARNING
Starter cord kickback (rapid retraction) can result in
bodily injury. NEVER pull starter cord without first relieving
spray gun pressure. Pull starter cord slowly until resistance
is felt, then pull rapidly. Kickback will pull hand and arm
toward engine faster than you can let go. High pressure can cause
spray gun to kickback. Hold spray gun with both hands during use.
When starting engine, position yourself as recommended. Grasp

starter grip handle and pull slowly until you feel some resistance.
Then pull rapidly to start engine.

After each starting attempt, where engine fails to run, always point

gun in safe direction press red safety button and squeeze spray gun
trigger to release high pressure.
Point gun toward surface to be cleaned. Press red saftey button and

pull trigger to begin spraying.
Stop pressure washer
Release spray gun trigger and let engine idle for two minutes.

Push engine rocker switch (Z) to off position (O or OFF).
2.

Turn off water supply.
3.
Point spray gun in safe direction, press red saftey button, and

squeeze spray gun trigger to relieve retained high water pressure.
NOTICE
Spray gun traps high water pressure, even when engine is
stopped and water is disconnected.
WARNING
Contact with engine parts and muffler area can result
in serious burns. DO NOT touch hot parts and AVOID hot
exhaust gases. Allow equipment to cool before touching.
Disconnect garden hose from pump.

Disconnect high pressure hose from pump and gun for storage. For

long term storage instructions, see operator’s manual.
Remove safety goggles.

• Utility knife • Unleaded fuel • Garden hose, 50 ft. (15m) or less • Safety goggles (indirect vented type)

Fuel and its vapors are flammable and
explosive. Turn off engine and wait at least
2 minutes before refueling. Let spilled fuel
evaporate before starting engine. Always
allow space for fuel expansion.

as injury can result. Spray gun traps high
water pressure, even when engine is stopped
and water is disconnected. ALWAYS point spray gun in
