1. To remove the mulching plug (18), grip the post and squeeze the lever,
push down to release the catch (Fig. 7).
2. Once the catch is released, the mulching plug can be lifted out of the
mower.

Step 4 – Attaching the grass collection bag
1. Lift the deflector guard (13).
2. Place the grass collection bag (7) on the mounting bracket provided at
the back of the lawn mower (Fig. 8).
3. Lower the deflector guard onto the grass collection bag.
Always ensure the deflector guard and the grass collection bag are fitted
securely.
CAUTION:
Ensure the mulching plug is not inserted into the lawn
mower before fitting the grass collection bag. If it is, remove the mulching
plug.
