WARNING:

A damaged extension cord can cause electric shock or a fire. Please inspect the

extension cord periodically. The tool must not be used if the cord is damaged in any way.
Replace a damaged extension cord before use.

1. Use a heavy duty extension cord, suitable for outdoor use and so marked. An ordinary duty extension
cord will cause loss of power and may overheat.
2. Keep the extension cord behind you, away from the area of operation.
3. Secure the extension cord to the motor housing using the cord retainer

located at the rear of the blower. Securing the extension cord in this

manner prevents accidental removal of the electrical cord during

operation.(See fig 3)

4. Plug the end of the electrical cord into the receptacle at the back of the
unit.

STARTING/STOPPING THE BLOWER

Connect an outdoor use extension cord to the polarized plug

on the rear of the blower. Follow the instructions for locking
extension cord to cord retainer. (See fig 3)

To start the electric blower, move the ON/OFF switch

to the  (

l

) position. (See fig 4)

To switch off, move the switch to the  (0) position. (See fig 4)

WARNING:

The tool runs for approximately 5 seconds after it has been switched off. Let the motor come
to a complete standstill before setting the tool down.

OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES

Hold the blower tube approximately 7” above the ground and turn the switch to the on position to
start. In a sweeping motion, move the blower side-to-side, advancing slowly keeping the leaves,
grass etc. in front of you

Always blow around the outer edges of a debris pile. Never blow directly into the middle of a pile.

Loosen the debris pile using a broom or rake before blowing. If pile is dusty, slightly dampen the pile
to limit airborne dust.

Always wear safety glasses to prevent rocks or solid debris from being blown ricocheting into the
eyes and face which can cause serious injury.

Always work away from solid objects such as large stones, cars and fences.

Be careful around flower beds, the force of the air could damage them.
