SPECIFIC SAFETY

WARNING! DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product (gained from
repeated use) replace strict adherence to the tool safety rules. If you use
this tool unsafely or incorrectly, you can suffer serious personal injury.
DANGER! DO NOT open the reel case. Do not attempt to disassemble the
main spring assembly. A spring that is under high tension can cause
serious personal injury or death when released. Have the tool repaired
by a certified technician.

1.

Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed for a specific
function. Do not modify or alter this tool or use it for an unintended
purpose.

2.

Do not use the tool if any parts are damage broken or misplaced. Repair or
replace the parts.

A qualified technician is required to replace or repair the reel’s
internal mechanism.

3.

Secure the retractable reel by using mounting hardware and fasteners to
maintain stability under vibration.

4.

Ensure the reel is properly installed before plugging it into a wall outlet or
connecting a tool.

5.

Do not exceed the reel’s rated amp capacity. The collective amp draw of
three tools plugged into the reel’s triple outlet must be less than the
amount listed in the Specifications. Exceeding the rated capacity could
result in loss of power and overheating.

6.

Exercise care when handling the retractable reel during normal operation.
The reel has rotating drum powered by a spring under tension. Do not
allow the cord to retract without restraining the recoil speed. Never let go
of the cord when rewinding.

7.

Prevent damage to the power cord by observing the following:
a.

Never carry the tool by the power cord

b.

Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.

c.

Always pull on the extension cord. Never pull on the attachment.

d.

Do not abruptly jerk on the extension cord, as this can damage the
cord or the locking mechanism
