7. Any pump used for transferring flammable liquids must be stored in a
ventilated area after use.
8. The pump should be washed out before it is used, because processing
lubricants may contaminate the fluids.
9. Prior to use, inspect your pump thoroughly verifying its proper assembly.
10. If the pump is removed from the drum, it should be thoroughly rinsed in a
liquid that is compatible with both the pump and fluid.
UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing. Replace the
missing part before operating. Failure to do so could result in a malfunction
and personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage.
Make sure that all items in the contents are included.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
1. Place the coupling nut (#2) over the spout (#3).
2. Screw the nut and spout to the pump body (#1).
3. Align the end of the handle (#8) with the opening in the piston rod (#9). Insert
a bolt (#7) through the handle and rod and secure with a nut (#22).
4. Connect the tube (#17) to the base (#16).
5. Screw the upper telescopic tube (#18) into the tube (#17).
6. Place the tube seal (#19) onto the lower tube.
7. Screw the lower telescopic tube (#20) into the upper telescopic tube.
8. Tighten all nuts and check that the seals are properly seated.
