2.  Screw the quick coupler into the tool’s air inlet and tighten with a wrench until snug.

3.  Run compressor at a low volume and check the connection for air leaks. Do not use the tool 

until all air leaks are repaired or the faulty component is replaced.

UNPACKING

1.  Carefully remove the tool from the package.

a.  Retain the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily install or 

operated the tool.

2.  Make sure that all the items in the parts list are included.

3.  Inspect the parts carefully to make sure the tool was not damaged while shipping.

WARNING! If any part is missing, do not operate the tool until the missing parts are replaced. 

Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury.

OPERATION 

WARNING! Disconnect the tool from its air supply before changing accessories, servicing or 

performing maintenance. 

1.  Select the appropriate accessory for the task. Only use accessories that are specifically 

designed for use with the die grinder. Make sure accessories are capable of handling the 

tool’s maximum speed of 18,000 RPM. Ensure the accessory is tightly installed. 

2.  Attach the accessory to the grinder.

3.  Connect the tool to the air hose.

4.  Turn on the grinder and wait until the unit has reached maximum speed before placing it onto 

the work piece.

NOTE:

 Allowing the tool to run with no load for an extended period of time will shorten its lifespan.

MAINTENANCE

1.  Make sure the trigger switch is in the OFF position and the air source is removed from the 

tool before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning.

2.  Before each use: Check the general condition of the tool. Check for misalignment or binding 

of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, damaged hoses, and any other conditions that may 

affect the safe operation of the tool. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem 

corrected before further use. Do not use damaged equipment.

3.  Daily maintenance: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove all dirt, grease, and debris from the 

exterior of the tool. Do not use solvents to clean the tool.

4.  When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use accessories that are only intended 

for use with this tool. Replace damaged parts immediately.

5.  If repairs are required, bring your tool to an authorized service center.

LUBRICATION

Lubricate the tool each day with SAE #10 air-motor oil. Add a drop or two of oil to the hose connection 

closest to the air supply, or to the air inlet of the tool. Run the tool until the excess oil is discharged 

through the exhaust.
