operating, inspection and maintenance instructions.
PERSONAL SAFETY
1.
Dress properly by wearing protective equipment. Use
foot, hand and head protection. Always wear ANSI
approved impact safety goggles, which must provide
both frontal and side protection. Protect your hands
with suitable gloves. Protect your head from falling
objects by wearing a hard hat. Protective, electrically
non-conductive clothes and non-skid footwear are
recommended when working. Wear steel-toed boots to
prevent injury from falling objects.
2.
Do not over reach; keep proper footing and balance at
all times. Proper footing and balance enables better
control in unexpected situations.
3.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use your
common sense. Do not operate any machine or tool
when you are tired, under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medications.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1.
Keep any ignition source, such as flames, sparks, or
embers away from the battery.
2.
Batteries contain sulfuric acid. Any contact should
be avoided.
3.
In case of any contact, flush with a large amount
of water.
4.
Always disconnect cables from the battery prior
to repairs.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1.
Disconnect the device from the power source
before servicing.
2.
Protect yourself against electric shocks when working
on electrical equipment. Avoid body contact with
grounded surfaces. There is an increased chance of
electrical shock if your body is grounded.
CAUTION! A qualified electrician should perform all wiring.
TOOL USE AND CARE
1.
Do not alter any parts of the device. All parts and
accessories are designed with built-in safety features
that may be compromised if altered.
2.
Make certain that the power source conforms to the
requirements of your equipment.
3.
When wiring an electrically driven device, follow all
electrical and safety codes, as well as the most recent
Canadian Electrical Code (CE) and the Canadian Centre
for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS).
4.
Always disconnect cables from the battery and ground
cable prior to repairs. Always reconnect cable to the
battery and the ground cable after the repairs.
UNPACKING
1.
Carefully remove the device from the package.

Retain packing material until you have carefully
inspected and satisfactorily installed the device.
2.
Make sure that all items in the parts list are included.
3.
Inspect the parts carefully to make sure the device was
not damaged while shipping.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Measurements are in millimeters.
1.
Determine a secure position to mount the fuse / circuit
panel and secure with screws.
2.
Attach the positive wire from the accessory to the fuse
/ circuit panel with a blade connector or by soldering.
3.
Connect the positive wire from the battery to the line-in
post and screw tight.
4.
Insert an appropriate ATO / ATC fuse into the proper
circuit channel on the fuse / circuit panel to complete
the circuit.
MAINTENANCE
1.
Maintain the device with care. A device in good
condition is efficient and will prevent
unnecessary problems.
2.
Inspect the device periodically. Have damaged or
worn components repaired or replaced by an
authorized technician.
DISPOSING OF THE DEVICE
If your device has become damaged beyond repair, do not throw it
out. Bring it to the appropriate recycling facility.
