replacing the SaW BlaDe
tools needed:
#1 Phillips screwdriver
•
18 mm (7/10") open-ended wrench,
•
6" adjustable wrench
•
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the power supply cord from the receptacle.
2. remove the water pan.
3. use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the blade protection box (see figure a).
This will expose the
18mm (7/10") arbor nut.
note:
The tip of the shaft has no threads. Grip the tip of the shaft with the adjustable wrench, then grip the nut
with the 18mm (7/10") open-ended wrench (see figure B). While holding the shaft firm with the adjustable
wrench, loosen the nut with the 18mm (7/10") wrench.
5. remove the lock nut and the flange (see figure C).
6. remove the saw blade, and change it.
7. replace the flange, paying attention to the rotation direction.
8. Install and tighten the lock nut.
9. Install the protection box.
