Complete all preparation steps before use. This model (8002060) is equipped
with a bump fire trigger design, intended for rapid nailing on flat, stationary
surfaces. This trigger design allows for use of the tool by two methods
1. Place firing is executed by positioning the nose of the tool onto the work
surface and then depressing the trigger to release a nail. Proper care must
be taken when using this method. Do not hold down the trigger with this
method as it will lead to double firing and possible injury.
2. Bump firing is executed by first depressing the trigger and then
contacting, or "bumping" the nose of the tool onto the work surface. The
tool will fire a nail every time the nose contacts the work surface as long
as the trigger remains depressed. This feature enables the user to release
multiple nails in sequence.
Warning: Proper procedure must be follwed when using the bump fire
method and care taken to avoid double-firiing nails and misfires which
can lead to personal injury. Always use proper safety precautions and
maintain control of the tool with a firm grip at all times.
